Operation Christmas Child

On Monday, November 22nd, HCA’s middle and high school students will have the opportunity to work together on a service project for Operation Christmas Child.

Students will be transforming the Heritage gym into a “mini” OCC warehouse where students will assemble workstations, construct, fill, label, and package boxes for needy children throughout the world.

In preparation for this service event, students and families are asked to donate gift items based on the following age criteria:

Elementary students & families: Ages 2-4 (Boy and Girl)

Middle school students & families: Ages 5-9 (Boy and Girl)

Middle school EQUIP rooms have been assigned specific items. Please purchase items according to each student’s EQUIP teacher. Thank you!

6th Grade Boys: Miss Westemeier (“WOW” Items)

6th Grade Girls: Miss Tangquist (Personal Care Items)

7th Grade Boys:  Mr. Filkins (School Supplies)

7th Grade Girls: Mrs. Rahn (Crafts & Activities)

8th Grade Boys:  Mr. Schomer (Toys)

8th Grade Girls:  Mrs. Dreblow (Clothing & Accessories)

High school students & families: Ages 10-14 (Boy and Girl)

High school EQUIP rooms have been assigned specific items. Please purchase items according to each student’s EQUIP teacher. Thank you!

9th Grade Boys:  Mr. Dallow (“WOW” Items)

9th Grade Girls:  Miss Heiderscheid (Personal Care Items)

10th Grade:  Mrs. Zachay (School Supplies)

10th Grade:  Mrs. Morgan (Toys)

11th Grade:  Mr. Nelson (Crafts & Activities)

12th Grade:  Mrs. Laird (Clothing & Accessories)

12th Grade:  Mr. Freeberg (Clothing & Accessories)

Donated items can be placed in collection bins, which are located outside the main office and the upper atrium. We would love to see a “mountain” of gifts collected during this time!
