The Association of Christian Schools International is an organization of Biblically based Christian schools and colleges. Its mission is to provide leadership, programs, and services in order to bring about excellence in these schools to the glory of God. ACSI is dedicated to fostering unity among all Christian schools and educators; edifying, exhorting and encouraging God's people through Christian education; helping schools define and implement a Christ-centered philosophy of education; developing services and materials to aid in the integration of Christian principles into the school's total program; promoting excellent education in schools; stimulating continuous spiritual and professional growth in personnel; and defending and providing support for schools in the area of legal/legislative concerns.

Accreditation and Certification
 
To enable an ACSI member school to improve and maintain the quality of their educational efforts through national programs of school approval, accreditation and professional staff certification.
 
Finance
 
To review and recommend fiscal policy and stewardship of funds for the ministry of ACSI.
 
Legal/Legislative
 
To provide ACSI leadership in dealing with the current needs and concerns relating to Christian schools; to identify and analyze legal/legislative issues; and, to develop a system of informing and mobilizing the Christian school constituency.
 
Missions
 
To encourage North American school involvement in the knowledge of missions and to give assistance to overseas Christian schools for children of missionaries and for nationals in any way compatible with ACSI philosophy, structure and resources.
 
Spiritual and Academic Affairs
 
To assist member schools to enhance their spiritual ministry and to promote academic excellence.
