Kindergarten

WELCOME TO HCA KINDERGARTEN!

Kindergarten students enjoy a FULL and FUN school experience, one that will set the tone for their elementary school career!  HCA's wholistic approach ensures a well-rounded academic, social and physical education, all while providing solid spiritual undergirding.  All instruction and interaction takes place within a joy-filled Christian Worldview framework.

The minimum age requirement for a Kindergarten student is five years old by September 1st of the desired enrollment school year.  Two Kindergarten schedules are offered:  Monday-Friday OR Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Both schedules are full days, 8:05am-2:45pm. Both classes are taught by a full-time head teacher who is supported by a teaching assistant, with a current student ratio of 1:9. 

Students enjoy core curriculum study in Language Arts, particularly emphasizing phonetic awareness and mastering reading, Social Science, Mathematics, Science and Bible.  PhyEd, Music (Theory and Choir), Art, Library and Spanish are important pieces of the students' schedule as well.
