2002 (10 Year) & 2007 (5 Year) HCA Grads will be admitted free to our HCA Homecoming Games on February 3rd and honored by the Athletic Department.

ALL OTHER HCA ALUMNI pay student admission fee.

Additionally, the HCAF will provide refreshments for all HCA Alumni.

Congratulations to Kyle Westlake (’09) and Holly Foy (’09) on their engagement and upcoming wedding.  The couple attended the Association Lutheran Free Bible School before transferring to North Hennepin, where Holly will graduate from next Spring.  Kyle plans to attend the University of MN to pursue his degree before studying Orthotics/Prosthetics. 
The couple is planning a summer 2012 wedding. 

Congratulations to Mark and Eunice (Skogerboe) Djerf (’02) on the birth of their son, Alexander Levi, born 10-26.  He weighed 7 lbs 12 oz. and measured 21” long.  Big sister Isabelle is delighted!  

Congratulations to Brad Huston (’10), who finished the Twin City Marathon in just a little over 4 hours.

 Autumn Beasley (’08) and Jared Huston (’07) were married on June 10 in Orono. The couple make their home in Fridley. Autumn will graduate from Bethel University next Spring with a degree in Nursing, while Jared is enrolled in Northwestern College’s Focus program. He is employed full-time by AT&T.

Dan ('07) and Linzy Westman were married on June 24, 2011 just outside Washington D.C. in Springfield, VA. They honeymooned in the Turks and Caicos Islands and now reside in Chicago, IL, where Dan is pursuing his Masters of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Linzy is working as a Worship Arts intern at their local church.

 Abby McLellan (’07) and Kyle Bowman were married in Plymouth, on July 17^th. Both are 2011 graduates of Azusa Pacific University. The couple resides in Camarillo, a suburb of Los Angeles. Mr. Bowman is an area salesman from Grainger Corporation. Mrs. Bowman is an events planner with Events by Philippe.

Steven Deckert (HCA ’09) of the Taylor University men's golf team has been has been honored as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete for his achievements in the classroom.
  A sophomore when it comes to athletic eligibility, Deckert has received enough academic credit at Taylor to be considered a junior. The Loretto, Minn., native is a history major.
          Deckert posted his best performance of the 2010-11 season at the USF Cougar Spring Invitational when he placed 11th out of 66 golfers with an 11-over (79-75-154) as the Trojans placed fifth out of 11 teams.
  The NAIA Scholar-Athlete Award is given to junior and senior student-athletes who maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and have been in attendance at the nominating institution a minimum of one full year of attendance.
  A total of 116 student-athletes are represented on this year's list of award winners.
